Hi all!

Is there any workaround of the ptt chapter thing in Scenarist? I'm mainly using it for making my own dvds form dvs and vhs recordings, and I'm sick of splitting the video and audio each time I want to put in a chapter break. Too much fuss with syncing them... :D

I also noticed a strange thing in Scenarist. When I wnat to add a track containing 382 kbps 5.1ch DD to a pgc containing only 448 kbps Scenarist rejects it (no wonder). Now if I add the Vid only and add the audio later in the track editor, it accepts without even a warning. Anyone explaining this?

You don't have to split your video up to get chapters in Scenarist. You need to make one track out of it and then set up "scenes" on that track. You do this by dragging the pointer out on the timeline. Position it where you want a scene to be and then click the "new scene" button at the top. A scene will be placed here. Now when you drop this track into the Scenario Editor, a chapter will automatically be created at the scene location.

Okay, thanks it works fine if u add scenes BEFORE u drop track into scenario editor... :D Anyway then whats it good for breaking the moovie to cells? I guess its kinda mandatory for multi PGC titles but for the others?

All depends on what you're trying to do.
