using filters need help???

thanks 2 any 1 who helps me realy do apreciate

at this min i am converting all my divx codec movie that are in 3.11 codec to 5.02. so i will be able to watch them on my kiss dvd player.

you got any tips on trying to keep good sharp qaulity??. as you wil no converting from a difrent codec to another one will loose some qaulity, am i just best choosing a couple of filters in virtual dub, b4 i convert, like the shap filter, and blur one??? or am i best waiting to see wot the results are like then choose the filters.

if i choose to put filters in after the results and convert again will i loose qaulity again, or do adding filters 2 a movie not change the qaulity of the original.

if you can give me as much information, on how to inprove the qaulity of my movies from 3.11 to 5.02 codec, would be most aprecited!!, last ? wot is the option in the divx codec 5.02 preprossing to light meen, and how do i use it.

uh i wouldnt do that... i think the best way would be to make a new dvd rip or look here (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=42253)

wot the hell was the point in posting that!!!!! i have the kiss player and i am happy with it why would i want that dvd player. and i dont have movies that are in dvd format!!!! wot a thick replay

2) plz read the whole thread i told you carefully and understand its purpose, i didnt mean that you should buy this player
3) if you have illegal copies of dvds you dont own, this forum isnt the right place for asking help

i have all the copies of my dvd,s and i want to back them up!! your answer you gave me was of no help and not even related to wot i was asking help 4, why did you give me that link did i ask 4 advise on a dvd player!!

why did you give me that link did i ask 4 advise on a dvd player!!because this link points to an upcoming tool which can convert divx3 content easily to mpeg-4 content which your kiss player should be able to play, but without the need to reencode...
