Hi,

I'm using an AIW 128 Pro card that used to provide the YUY2 format as an option when capturing video under Win98SE and AVI_IO. I recently switched over to Win2k and Iuvcr and no longer have this option.

Is this an issue with the card's driver or the capturing software? Any way to get this format back under Win2k?

Thanks.

I don't know if this is a specific problem isolated to you.. or if it's iuVCR.

I used iuVCR (with a crack) and it started falling apart on me after a while, CDRWIN style. It stopped compressing video entirely (filesizes are that of uncompressed AVI despite other setting selected) and the Video tab disappeared entirely after a while. So, if you don't have the registered version (if you did you'd be talking to iulabs probably :p) then maybe you should try something else. I find VirtualVCR is just as good, if not better than iuVCR, and freeware.

Also, you say you're using ATI AIW - are you using ATI drivers or BT8x8?

I ve seen this happenning and had to re install grafix card/tv tuner/iuVCR and voila : it worked again !
But if you want this to never happen again, just do this :
When you uninstall/reinstall all these and iuVCR works just as u want it too, just create and save a new profile...this way when things get fucked again,u can just revert to you saved profile...
Hope this helps...
