I get this error with recordnow max 4.10 when it is testing a file before burning it


Error -10 at sector 0. Command: 52 Sense :05 ASC:24 ASCQ:00 \

Any help will be appreciated.

I have no idea, but you should upgrade to 4.5.

Generally I believe the Error 10 is one of two things:

1) If you're running a drive that doesn't support UDMA/DMA, change your settings to programmed I/O (PIO) instead.

2) Check to see if you have other devices on the bus that could be causing the issue. I had the problem with my Pioneer A03, but it wasn't the drive's fault, it was a DVD-ROM drive. I put that on it's own IDE channel, no problems since.

What make/model of DVD burner are you using? What's the firmware version?
