Awesome Surround Sound Movie List

I started a list of movies with awesome surround sound if anybody with surround sound is interested. Most of us with home theaters try to rent movies solely off awesome surround sound. Anyway, the list can be found here:

Uh, sure. Nevermind that I have two surround sound systems, a 5.1 and a 6.1, and of the last six movies I've rented, one's been a silent, two have been BW monos and two stereos. Some of us care about more than "awesome surround sound". Although I'll agree that those DVDs are indeed the best-sounding out there. Can't think of any omission.

the first movie that came to my mind was actually the first one on the list behind enemy lines... i would say almost all war movies have excellent sound. also noticed all there are all action & war movies.

Yeah, that's what one of my close firends told me too, that most war movies have great surround sound.

hm,

i can't fully agree with this sentence... it's true, just after i had installed my home-cinema, i went out and rent some movies just for the sound. but after the first "hype" is over, you just want to watch GOOD movies, not just for the sound...

Yes, I do agree somewhat, but I think most people don't go buy a home theater surround sound system to watch silent movies! :p I agree though, but I think it is cool to have/make a list so that if you are in the mood for a movie with nice sound that you can feel, then there's a nice list compiled by others so you have some ideas of what to rent.
