View Full Version : How do i reencode a 2.35:1 AR DVD movie in CCE?

I just got LOTR1 and it's 2.35:1 AR, but how do i reencode that while keeping the AR in CCE?. I've heard you have to add some borders but i'm not quite sure how to do it.

iv never had to add borders! there usually already there ?
aspect ratio is prolly 16:9 with borders already

Like REECYCUP said all the 2.35 movies I have seen are actually 1.85, but what you don't notice is that the difference is made up by a matting border already encoded in the video. Bourne Identity is the same way.
