players for linux

hi,

i'm looking for a good, easy to use dvd player for linux. any advices ?

furthermore and maybe even more important i am looking for a avi/divx player for linux as well. so far i've been using zoom player under windows. what the linux player should be able to do is:
1. ability to handle 2 audio tracks in the divx movie (zoom player is able to switch between 2)
2. this is not a must - show subtitles which i have as seperate subtitle files (gknot)
3. that's not a must as well - handling should be somewhat comparable to zoom player

Well for dvd playback, I use Ogle (http://www.dtek.chalmers.se/groups/dvd/) and for everything else under the sun, I use Mplayer (http://mplayerhq.hu/) I know it will play divx movies very well with libavcodec (just as ffdshow does). I know it supports many formats for subtitles (although, I've never used it so I can't tell you want) I am not sure it it supports dual audio movies, but if anything does ... mplayer does. I wasn't kidding when I said it will play anything in site, I've never come across a file that it didn't play well. (Even several movies that I couldn't play in windows ;-)) Mplayer is also a dvd player but I couldn't get it to work right (with menus).

Yes mplayer will do dual language avi

mplayer -aid [audio track number] [file name]

audio track number starts from 0.
