Hello
I am a super newbie to SVCD conversion. I have backed up DVDs many times to Divx or Xvid copies, but never SVCD. This is my first time. I am using the newest version of DVD2SVCD and the SP 2.50 Demo version of CCE. I understand that to get rid of the logo i need to buy CCE, this is not what I am asking.
After I have completed the entire process error free, i check the video before burning. The picture quality is great. The only problem is that there are 9 little white squares that form a 3x3 big square. They Start in the upper left hand corner and begin to float around the video all over the picture.
I have checked all over this forum and have not found the same problem. Can someone help me here??? I also tried to use the Trial Version of TMPGEnc. It produced the same results. So I think that one of my settings must be messed up. I also did 2 different movies to make sure it wasn't just that DVD.
The only thing that i did not follow in the DVD2SVCD rules was: I had previously ripped both the DVDs using SmartRipper instead of the onboard DVD2SVCD ripper. Can this be the reason? I am going to check this option today, but any help anyone can provide would be really appreciated.
THANX
