I'm about to burn my first DVD-R and want to keep it really simple. Am I correct so far.... I have captured the AVI, added filters and cut station-breaks with Virtual Dub then frameserved to TMPGenc Plus. I used the Pal DVD template and created an Mpeg2 with 2pass VBR Average=7000 Max=8000 Min=2000. This 53 minute docco ended up just over 2gb. Now...If I don't care about chapter points or menus, can I just bypass the authoring software and burn this Mpeg2 with the latest Nero to my blank DVD ?? All hits or tips appreciated.
