Newbie Question

Just a couple of quick questions before I use DVD2SVCD. Is there any way I can encode just ten minutes to see if it's encoding like I want? It seems I can't stop it once it starts and I don't want to do a 10 hour rip only to find out it's not right. Secondly, I've been using TMPEnc Plus to do my MPEG2 encoding. I almost always use the "No margins" for the video arrange method for 16:9 encoding as 4:3 and full screen when ecoding 4:3 to 4:3. This is just my personal preference. Can I do this within DVD2SVCD? I've discovered the VCDheader plugin so that's nice. I've been doing it manually for VCD playback.

1. I hit submit and nothing happend for 45 seconds so I hit again. When I saw the double posting I went to delete but I didn't have priveleges.
