This may be a stupid question but how does MakeItEasy keeps its info about how much padding I have allowed. Does it keep it in memory? because I couldn't find any file that MakeItEasy would store it in. I'm using v0.15.
Let me explain, I was taking a break from my computer while step 3 was in progress with IFOedit creating my new IFOs. When I got back, I found that my computer had locked up for some reason but at least IFOedit had completed with giving me my IFOs. After reboot, I pondered if I needed to do the whole procedure again so I just took the chance,proceeded to the next step, and let DVD2One process the padded movie. Everything turned out fine in the end. It still knew how much padding to take out. Here is my results on Sweet Home Alabama R1.
Before DVD2One
Original DVD size:7805 MB
Movie only: 6360 MB
All other files: 1445 MB
In step 2, Extras size was 1591 MB which was (1445 MB + (1445 MB * 10%))
Padding was autoset to 3350 MB
After MakeItEasy's padding, I had a little over 9 VTS files.
After DVD2One
DVD2One movie size: 3067 MB
DVD2One movie VOBs with extras: 4516 MB
I'm amazed on how much my main movie shrank down so much. I haven't burnt it yet but overall, it looks and tested good.
