I assume it's just not me, but does everyone's MakeItEasy have the background color for displaying the directory, after chosen black, and the text color also black??? I can't see which directory that i've chosen... this should be changed if it's not just something strange with my setup...

I assumed this was just how the GUI was written, Are you saying that you can see the selected directory, mine are all black on black no visible text??

No problem at all on mine. Only thing black is the printing (words).

Must be a problem related to your video settings/hardware/drivers. I can browse & pick a directory and move on. Directory is still visible.

EDIT - Just thought I'd add my specs in case it helps anyone. Like I posted, I have no problems with the blacked out boxes.

WinXP Pro SP1, 1gig pc133 ram, Soyo V7KTA-Pro MB, ATI AIW Radeon 32mb w/6255 drivers, Athlon-XP 2100+, 100gig & 60gig ATA100 HDs, Sony 500a, no-name 16x dvd-rom

There was another report of this problem with Windows XP. What version of Windows are you running.

Just an update the blacked out area is on the both machines I use for video work.I see the directory under the browse option but not in the program itself.
Systems used with MakeItEasy.I have not tried on any of my other machines. I also can not get the last 3 or so chapter points to operate correctly??

I'm runnin XP pro... I can see the browse fine, but not the actually directory's after i choose them... black on black

if your XP settings under display are set to silver Windows instead of "DefaultBlue" the window comes out black -- switch to Default blue and this should fix problem

You are absolutely correct,good find, I would have never thought of that. It is a shame I hate the default blue but it seem to also work in classic so back I go.

I am running StyleXP with a style applied and have no trouble. Just FYI. Weird that the silver does that.

There's no reason to go back to the god awful default blue, I just disabled visual profiles in the compatibilty options for the shortcut I'd made.
