I am trying to convert a vob into an mpeg file. The vob file is originally in 16x9 format. I first use dvd2avi to convert the vob file into a .d2v file. I then load the .d2v file into tempgenc and choose "16:9 display" for the aspect ratio, but the .mpg file created under tempgenc looks squished into a 4:3 picture. What do I need to do to get it to product a 16x9 mpg file? I also tried the "16:9 525 line (NTSC)" option, but the results are the same.

Never mind. I just figured it out myself.
Just figure out that u need to set both the input and output to 16x9.

Hmm, now I can't change the Aspect ratio under the "Video" tab of the "Setting" button. Its not highlighted. What do I need to do to change it? I am able to set the source aspect ratio to 16:9 under the "Advanced" tab with no problems. Not sure how I was able to set it before. Anyone know?

Did you load the "unlock.mcf" profile?
