Hi all,

I've been trying to back-up Band of Brothers, and I get through the whole process until it's time to burn the new DVD. Nero thinks it needs a VTS_02_01.VOB file that doesn't exist on the disc, and I get compatibility error warnings that it needs this file and the resulting disc may be unplayable (which it is, as I made a coaster).

It was suggested that I use PrimoDVD to get around Nero's lack of DVD compliance understanding, and here is where it gets interesting. I use an Alera Technologies DVD+R Cruiser External USB 2.0 DVD Recorder, and PrimoDVD sees the unit as a DVD-ROM, but when I try to get it to burn, I get the following error code when attempting to read any trype of DVD+R media, "Sense:5 ASC: 24 ASCU: 00 Invalid Field In Cdb" Anyone have any thoughts on how to get this software (v 2.0.766) to get along with my burner?

The last thng I tried to get around the whole issue is to create an Disc Image with IFOEDIT, but that produces the error, "Can't locate imglib.dll"

Any help on any of these issues would be appreciated.

regards,
Ed Janx

Get a hold of ImgTools and use it to create an img file of your VIDEO_TS folder.

Now use DVD Decrypter to burn the img file to a DVDR.
It should work now.
I had similar problems using RecordNow and this fixed that problem for me.

ImgTools! Ah, that's also where IfoEdit gets the imglib.dll file from! Once I installed ImgTools, I copied this .dll into my IfoEdit folder and it made a perfect image. Off to DVD Decryptor, and it finally burned a usable Ritek DVD+R!

Thanks for the tip!!
