Not for DVD-R/-RW/-RAM/+R/+RW discs.
Note that dual layer commercial DVDs are pressed, not burned.

BTW: Pressed (commercial) DVD-9 has only 8,5 GB capacity.

Can you explainn the difference?
When I think pressed I get images of black vynil lp records.

What difference do you mean?
There's pressed CDs/DVDs and burned ones...is that it?
Burned is written with laser and pressed is just that, pressed...should be quite similar to vinyl in a way...and commercial dual layer dvds (dvd-9) are standardized so that the second layer stores less information that the first one...so it's not 2x4,7 GB, but in fact only 8,5 GB capacity...
