View Full Version : Player that support manual avi syncing?

Hi.

I have tried many players but havent found any1 able to let you manually sync the audio. I play alot of movies/tv-shows and get sync problems sometimes when a couple of bad fames apear, then all would be fine if I just could delay or speed upp video os it gets in sync. Can any1 name a player that can do this. Plz explain how to do also as I curently have tried: Bspalyer,The core media player rc1,wmp 6/7/8/9,zoomplayer.

ffdshow allows you to specify a video delay.

well much better if in player as sometimes you got 2 places where you need syncronise the audio or if you use ffdshow you will get bad sync before the bad frames. Would be easier if player had option for itso you could lissen and at the same time fix it to fit again.

Well it does what I whant only difeent is I wanna be able to do it in real time when playing the movie seems that isnt possible. I think IŽll prefer to sync audio using ffdshow instead or just add delay using vdub. Thnx for the replies, to bad no player has such feuture as there often gets bad frames when you send/get movies trough internet.

Yes,I understand what you want to do.But with avi information you can resync the video easily and save it.

well if you just want to delay or speed the audio with your own desired time then CrystalPlayer is excellent and working solution!!

I always use it to test how much skew I should put in Nandub if my encoded file has some synch issues.

If I want to speed the audio 2 seconds, then just put the 2000ms in skew option and see if it is in synch then..and if it is just use those same values with nandub.

Thnx. That was exatly what I needed =). Finally a bad frame or more whont screw upp the entire movie/serie.
