I was wondering which should be the working dimensions in Photoshop when I'm creating a STILL menu in PAL? In DVDMaestro manual it says 720x658 and then resize it to 720x576. But i've seen in a Google search that i can also use 768x576 and then resize it...

Yet, the most important for me is to create a still menu and then take the .psd and import it to After effects to create transitional videos...I know that in motion menus i should always use 720x576...
Now...which PSD should i import to After Effects...The 720x658 PSD or the resized one?

Thanks

Normally it's 720x576. If you want to create a widescreen menu, than you need the stills in 1024x576. If you want to create animated anamorphic menus, create them also in 1024x576, and make the resize to 720x576 when encoding to MPEG 2. But remember, that the subs also need to be created in 1024x576 and resized after that to 720x576 to match the menu!
