Hello!
Now I've got my second DVD that gets out of sync when I transcode it to SVCD.
The first one was "Bad Karma", now the second one is "Ripper"(seems to be only avaible in Germany).
Bouth DVD's have the problem, that I can see the mouth moving and the sound comes 3-5 seconds later all over the movie.
My question is now where this bug comes from! The VOB's on my HDD are OK, the next tep I can check is with the final MPEG-file.
At the Moment I think that this Problem comes from DVD2SVCD. Maybe the AC3 stream is already out of sync and so besweet can't work correct.
When I playback the MP2 file with WinDVD I have around 3 seconds silence at the beginning which can produce this asyc-problem.
So where do this 3 seconds come from, and how can we solve this problem without using bbMPEG to fix this? Normally this silence part should be cutted away before encoding to MP2 or better this 3 seconds should never happen.

So, the last hours I tryed to fix the async-prob with the bbMPEG Settings. Aufter I noticed that it doesn't change anything if I select as Video startup delay of 0 or 9999 I have converted the final MP2 into WAV and checked the silence at the start with CoolEdit. Exact 2 Seconds ;-)
So I cutted the first 2 seconds away with BeSweet and everything is perfect :-)
Think this setting of BeSweet should be avaible in DVD2SVCD in future!

I have choosen the frameselection because I don't have the time to always encode the whole movie to check if everything is OK with the movie.
The beginning of the selection starts direct with sound, so I have noticed this 3 seconds of silence at the beginning of the MP2.
Last night I have encoded the whole movie with this settings, so the problem does't come from the frame-selection!!
