Conversion Problems

Wonder if any of you genieues can help me, let me tell you my tale of woe, I have been converting DVD's to SVCD a while now using DVD2SVCD with very sucessful results.

I have just obtained 4 DVD's containing Espisode of the old UK TV Series called The Professionals, each DVD contains 4 Episodes.

IO have ripped each Episode sucessfully using Smartripper tahn then I am performing the conversion using DVD2SVCD, on each DVD the first two Episodes convert fine, however, when I try and convert the third and fourth episode, DVD2SVCD just freezes after a couple of seconds, I usually get a separate Windows running DVD2AVI but this does not start.

Can anyone please advise what is wrong and how to rectify the problem or can anyone recommand a better way of performing the converion.

I like DVD2SVCD as it does everything in one program.

Should be getting a DVD burner in a couple of month so that will be a help but that does not solve my present problem.

Use a better title.
Search the forum before posting. Something very much like this was answered yesterday. May not be the same issue, but check it out anyway.
Read and supply the information in the mandatory post.
Don't use outside rippers with DVD2SVCD unless there is no other choice.
