Ok i ordered 100 ritek DVD-R's from http://store.yahoo.com/cdrdvdrmedia/index.html
i recieved them today by looking at the disk i see no brand name anywhere on packaging or disks this is what i have on packaging.

102-004-100=packaging

on DVD itself
inner ring E6-3L16301225465
outer ring DR5L16--00095

If anyone can identify this as ritek or any other brand please let me know i hate to order something and be decieved.these are silver/dark purple and the glueing of the two layers looks pretty crappy to be honest.by comparison looking at the 100 pack of dvd-r that i was using before these(forget the brand)glueing was nicer and purple was a lighter color.

Thanks for any info.

Well, with the inner ring number, it sounds like you've got Ritek's alright. Probably G3's. Did you try ADVDinfo or the latest DVDDecrypter? They can show the manufacturer ID from the disc.

Thanks i looked at it through iso write mode on DVD Decryptor and they read as RITEK G03's im hoping these are as good as ive heard they are.guessing the darker purple write layer is better than my before lighter purple ones

I use Ritek's now as a standard (burned over 500 now), and have had good luck with them. I'm not sure the dye darkness matters, but true Riteks are dark purple.
