dvd encoding

Help i have been trying to back up Lord of the Rings 1 and Not Another Teen movie . And dont seem to be having much luck i noticed that the original dvd has only 1 cab direc (VIDEO TS) no Audio TS and when i finally get to copy using nero it says you are trying to copy a multisession dvd what do u want to do create multisession or leave on both options, when i have finally burned the dvd i cant play it on dvd standalone but works ok on dvd rom on computer. Is there some kind of new anti copy software included in these new generation dvds.
I use the following programs:-

DVD DECRYPTER
DVD2AVI
TMPEG
CHAPTER XTRACTOR
DVD MAESTRO
NERO

sorry everyone the problem i seem to was was a problem with nero software
