hi all,

i have authored a dvd with scenarist.however it gives me an error when trying to make the dvd......it something about subpicture attributes not being same as reference pgc....im not stupid, but i cant seem to find where the problem is.

please check out this screenshot, the error is left bottom and relevant pgc's are in the scenario window.

anyone knows what to do ?

It clearly says that the subpicture u r using in the ..... has different attributes from the one in the language.

Either u have forgot to assign a language code or your settings for wide, letterbox is wrong. If u compare the two u should spot the difference.

i know that it clearly says something, but its not someting i get.....the two pgcs are both just tracks with av and subs in them.how can one be a reference pgc to the other ? what is that ? i did already check for differences, no differences found, both have language assigned to both subtracks.is there anything else i can set the language too then? if so then how ? how do i know if a wide/LB setting is wrong ? i mean all i did was put both subtracks at wide+LB as usual, for both pgc's.what else is there to be wrong ?

right under the language there r some buttons. Both of them should have the same ones pressed.

Nevertheless I think that both W and L should be selected in a 16:9 stream.

The reference pgc is the one that is on the Language domain

hey man, i found it out! it was not the settings in the track editor, like W and LB subtitle stuff, but i had to change the PGC attributes in the middle bottom part window....there i found the subpicture attributes folder....and there it was, i had to make it so they were both the same.kinda stupid that i was looking in the trackeditor at language attributes and not at the PGC/subpicture attributes...oh well:) it works now.
