View Full Version : Strange problem with Crimson Tide

The problem I'm having is that during certain parts of the movie (this will happen at these spots every single time), I see a picture of a camera at the top right of the screen followed by 1/2. This is on an RCA 5240P DVD standalone. I believe it's the multi-angle symbol but not 100% sure since I have no multi-angle DVDs (that I'm aware of)

Here's what I did to burn it.

It's a simple movie since it's less than 4.37GB so I:
Used DVD decrypter in ISO read mode.
then used DVD decrypter in ISO write mode.

This problem happens in the RCA I mentioned above but not in my Toshiba standalone nor on my PC. Is it possible that the DVD didn't burn correctly and only the RCA is picky enough to see some flaw?

I did a bunch of searches but was not able to find anything on this.

Any ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks.

:) yes it means its a option for an other angle
if you select the angle button it will show the other angle
usually at the begining and end

Thanks for responding but it doesn't happen at the beginning nor the end and the angle function is disabled (if I hit the angle button it'll show a stop sign). It happens randomly through the movie but in the exact same places everytime.. Plus this only shows up on one of my 3 dvd players. The other 2 play it normally without showing the angle symbol. May I also mention that the original version of the movie does not have this problem which makes me think it was a bad burn or something. But I thought I'd ask to see if anyone else has seen this before.
