I know this is a strange one but can I put 4:3 PAL and 16:9 NTSC on Same disk.

I have a 4:3 Pal .MPV and a 16:9 .MPV. Is the only way to do this to convert the NTSC to PAL...but then im stuck with the different AR...any help appreciated...(I use Scenarist to authour)

Aspect ratios can coexist on a disk, but in seperate VTS. To be truly compatible you should not have NTSC and PAL on the same disk (or side of a dual sided disk). In fact, on most players, it won't work, the player will stay in whatever mode was first encountered.
Edit: That is, if the player even supports both PAL and NTSC.

I have seen this done a few times...

I.E a PAL movie.. with NTSC trailers .... PAL and NTSC must exist in separate vobsets tho...

PAL and NTSC cannot co-exist in the one DVD.

a double sided disc (however) is considered two different DVD's.
