I currently neither have time nor energy to deal with this myself but maybe you can tell this guy how lame it is to copy other site's content. At least he provides the soft himself (of course he has to due to the anti-leech) but that's beside the point.

I sent a mail but usually such shameless thieves either don't respond or they respond with insults and venom.

don't get mad, get even.
since they got the same software as Doom9, just ask everyone to download from his' website and use up all his bandwith, costing him money [i think that's how it works (bandwith = money)]; until they decide to change the format of there website.

I can see one problem with that - did you check the versions on that page? Very old stuff.

This is very strange, www.subpage.net has the same ip as www.feliratok.hu, our biggest and most useful page to find translated hungarian subtitles. feliratok.hu even has its own "utils" and "guides" section all in hungarian, so I have no idea why they wanted to make another when there is already a working homepage. My guess that it was just left there unfinished long ago... (since 1762, lol)

the rip packs "gknot" and "DVD2SVCD" actually link to the files on the doom9 server. lameness.

I have just emailed the guy. Lets see if he answeres.
The source´s page is also a copy from Doom9: http://www.subpage.net/sources.php. If you check it, you will see that even the Back button is Doom9´s style.
