Macrovision probs

When i try to play a DVD with some kind of macrovision protection on my Geforce 4 system, powerDVD complains that i should shut down my TV-out coz of the macrovision-thing, while it isn't even active!!! windvd just sits there and does nothing. :angry:
any ideas on this one? it's like they WANT you to only watch divx's :confused:

I couldn't play any dvd with the latest detonator and dx9 together because of some kind of weired macrovision problem, downgrading the drivers helped.
