Yes and no. The problem with some cards, is poor shielding from the RFI produced by the PC, and TV tuners that aren't very sensitive. I like Hauppauge on both counts. Search www.pricewatch.com for "WinTV-radio" for only $40. it's a steal for that card. But remember, newer cards are now starting to be released, that use better chips on board (10-bit vs 8-bit, and 2D comb filters vs notch filters.)
