what do you think about make some downrate in the audio ?

i am making now allways downrate in my audio sources to be with 256 bits so after i get more room in the video. i just cant " hear " the diference , but i can see the diference when i increase the birate in the video.

People have suggested this before. It's not a good idea for a number of different reasons. The most important ones being, it adds a LOT more time into the process and, depending on the method, could introduce artifacting and distortion into the audio or even screw up the digital surround altogether. It also will only result in a space savings of about ~150MB and that's just when going from 448kbps to 256kbps. That amount of space is inconsequential in terms of video quality. You won't have a noticeable difference with only 150MB extra.

and basically all the studios encode their AC3 files at the minimum bitrate before they loose dynamic range (read the dolby encoding docs, or soft encode shows it too).
