timed / scheduled capture on DV?

I use DV firewire device Sony DCMC-DA2 to capture broadcast TV.

I use Puremotion Capture 2.1.2 application to record.

Is there any way to automate recording on Puremotion Capture for scheduled recordings?

Or is there better DV capture application which has timed recording function?

Virtualdub can't capture DV :(

I've been thinking about the very same thing for a while. I also have a DV-device and have not found a capturing app with a scheduler.
But I am pretty sure I have now solved it by using a different approach: Using a software that can control the capturing application, including starting and stopping it at times I set.
The best one I have tested (and is evaluating right now) is called AutoMate 5. You can find the demo here: http://www.unisyn.com/automate/
It was dead easy to set up and has so far worked like a charm with Vegas Video and I'm sure it can control just about any (capturing) software too! :-)
