ok, i'm tired of having problems watching videos, so i will finally install nimo pack on my computer as i read that thereis all codecs in there. my question is: do i have to unistall the codecs that i have now in my computer before i intall nimo, or it is ok to install nimo without uninstalling others? i'm asking that because i read somewhere that you can have problems if you don't unistall the current files first.

thanks a lot.
take care.

please, don't install Nimo... is totaly broken.
Install just the codec/decoder you will use.
Install divx5.0.3, xvid (+Nic direct show filter), ffdshow (latest beta), no need to install anything other.
Just some audio decoder, as ac3filters, ogg direct show filters, subtitle ds filter.
Use bsplayer, zoomplayer or MPC.

Hi-

I agree 100% with majerle. Although I installed Nimo once, before I knew better, and haven't had problems, there are many here that have had problems with it. If you have a video that won't play, then point GSpot (http://www.doom9.org/Soft21/Editing/gspot21.zip) at it, and it will tell you what you're missing. The other software he mentioned is in the Downloads section of this site.

Though I still haven't been able to find a DivX audio decoder anywhere except in Nimo...
