View Full Version : TMPGEnc outputs digital silence from QT files

Since I just *hate* the QT player for Windows, I always reencode movie trailers to AVI, but after a reinstall of Win2k and subsequent reinstall of all programs, TMPGEnc is no longer able to output waveform from a QT file. As the topic suggests, all I get is digital silence. The weird thing is that it shows the picture just fine.

Any ideas as to what is going on?

think the audio might be copy protected.
Nobody has a good answer yet (in this forum)

Have you tried using Quicktime Pro to export the audio to a seperate WAV-file, and process through TMPGEnc with seperate video and audio files?
