I have a DVD with videos. I ripped it with smartripper from gknot 0.26. I extracted audio with DVD2AVI from gknot 0.27. It was in .MPA format and gknot 0.27 won't encode it into MP3. I didn't have problems with this on gknot 0.26. I read that gknot 0.27 is faster and I wanna use it. Anybody else had this problem? How can I make 0.27 work with .MPA tracks?

This is what is shown in the log:

You have to run Besweet manually in order to transcode mpa to mp3. Then you can just mux the final audio with GKnot. Or if you find it to hard, you can use WinAmp to convert the MPA to WAV and then let GKnot/lame convert it to MP3. In that case set output plugin of WinAmp to DiskWriter.

check your BeSweet logfile, you're probably missing hip.dll.

That fixed it. Thanx DSPguru.

I think that it should have been included with Gknot 0.27 from the start.

Where is hip.dll?
Is it located in the Gknot folder?

That file is on DSPguru's web page (http://dspguru.notrace.dk/). Just download BeSweetv1.4.zip from that page and then extract hip.dll into your gknot directory.

Thanks.

Does not work also the hip.dll in the beta version 1.5b14?

No, not beta. Get BeSweetv1.4.zip. Hip.dll is inside and it works on my PC with XP
Just copy hip.dll into gknot's folder without anything else
