After having the same problems with playing DVD's in IfoEdit (The playback won't start because of 1 out of 3 Streams ...bla bla... cannot produce closed caption data) I tried a few things. First of all, I installed the new ASPI 4.71.1 Layer and Direct X 9. Didn't help. Lucky, I have two similar PC with the same Mainboard and everything except for the Graphics Adapter. On one machine everythings is ok. On the other one not. In the first PC there is a Matrox Millenium G550 with two Monitors (Does not work here) the other one has a Matrox Millenium Parhelia (It works here). So it has probably to do with that. On the one with G550 I switched resolution from 1152 x 864 down to 1024 x 768 and disabled the second monitor. After that, DVD Play in IfoEdit worked fine. I can live with that.
After switching resolution back to normal, same error requester again.
Probably you guys try to switch resolution and give the RAM on the Video Adapter more room to play ... :-)
Cheers, mates
