Hi

I have bought a portabel mp3/vcd player (http://www.mp3playerstore.com/buy_it_now__/mirage.htm) and i want to use this one in my car.
I was thinking that it was going to show the mp3 songs on the tft screen like my home dvd player, but this is not working.
Now i found out that i can make a music album (http://www.coyote01.freeserve.co.uk/music_album.htm) on a vcd cd with winoncd.
I did this and the cd burned ok.
Now when put the cd in my player i do get the menu's and when i go to the albums i can see the songs.
But when i start palying the song it goes to fast(it plays ok on my home dvd player).
I also tryed to make a cd with different baud rates but it wont help.
Can someone help me out with this because i do not have a clue what to do anymore.
Maybe there is another software that can do this.

Please help !
Gijsje

I've never used WinOnCD but it appears its creating a VCD with CDDA audio tracks. Have you tried playing a standard audio cd(r) on your VCD player, does it play correctly?

If it does, the only other thing I can think of is that WinOnCD is not adding a video track to the VCD, which you need to do to make the VCD fully compliant with VCD specs.

I have created VCD albums with CDDA tracks using the freeware, Philips VCD Toolkit (http://www.icdia.org/sw_pc/vcdtools.html) .

Guides can be found at VCDHelp (http://www.dvdrhelp.com) .

WinOnCD encode the music in mp2 and then mux the audio and picture(in mpeg-1 high resolution 704x576/480) in a non-standard "mpeg-1 still image" as "Selection" in the "PBC" - that's why not all dvd-player support it.
The WinOnCD's Photo/Music-VCDs have nothing to do with the Philps' hybrid Audio-VCD.
