How to convert .m2v to .bmp?

From what I can see DVD Maestro does not support still menus as .m2v - they must be in bmp format.

Does anyone know a tool that would convert a .m2v file to a .bmp ?

The (long) way I have been doing it is capturing 2 images of the same menu in power dvd, then cutting and pasting to make it appear no button has been selected.

Surely there must be an easier way though.

Sorry I'm not home right now (I'm at work, shhh) so I can't check , but I think I already did it using VobRator (not sure though).
