Hi people

Im trying to back up my copy of Signs but Im stuck with the Illegal Navigation error in IfoEdit. This is what I did, maybe someone can help me out:

I stripped out the unwanted subs and audio tracks. Now when I fire it all up in IfoEdit, it goes to a main screen where you can choose between languages. When I choose one, I get the illegal navigation error. I checked on the video_ts and vts01 ifos and tried to tell him which language to set and to jump directly to the title menu of set 1. But nothing would work- except if I set it to "angle menu" in ifoedit, then the said language screen pops up and gets stuck in a loop if I choose one.

Could someone point out which places in the ifos are important for setting a language and pointing to a menu? Maybe I made an obvious mistake...

i backed up signs the other day with only minor problems. the first being the movie was to big even after stripping all subs and leaving 1 audio. i wanted to fit it on 1 disc, so i stripped out the first 2 vobs of vts 1. after doing a get vts vectors everything was corrected in the ifo's. then i went into vts ifo and changed the jump command to jump to ttn 1. which makes the disc play from the start of the movie, minus the opening credits i dropped with stripping vobs 1 and 2. if u r playing the movie and it is going to anything other than the begining of the movie then u did an incorect command edit.

If you guys are doing NTSC region 1, try looking here on my Signs cheat sheet. I did it before DVD2one got popular though. I believe I could've kept my end credits and menu if I had done it DVD2one. Possibly even bonus materials if MakeItEasy works out.

2cool, I think your guides are great. I tried your SIGNS guide and just can't seem to fit it all one one disc. Any thoughts as to what I may be doing wrong? Thanks.
