I found a way to get this program to do a 2 program group disk.
first I ripped program group 1 to a folder, next I did every thing in IfoEdit to make sure this was a working movie. Strip audio here,Make sure to remove VOB ID'S keep the one's for the program group your doing.
Do the same for program group 2.
Next merge the vob's (_01-_0?) only into a second folder named merged.
Rework the new vob's with IfoEdit to get them back into a movie. Check to make sure it a working movie.
next run dvd2one, for some reason the fist time I ran it, I went from 5.2 to 4.8 so I ran the program a secound time on the new files and this time they went from 4.8 to 4.2. But still looked very good. Very strange.
The movie I did this on is Band of Brothers disk 3, part 6 starts at chapter 6 on the disk. I had been cuting credits and intro's to save space and last few minuites of the second part was split and starts on the next disk. I did it to perfection on the three disk, Back to the Future set I got the whole set on to 4 DVD's,but when I got to the third disk of Band of Brothers, It wouldn't set the chapters right.
This new way worked perfect for me,good luck

Let me clear that up a little, the Back to the Future disks only had one program group, I was just using the method of cutting and spanning accross disks.

Also I want to say that I see no reason that movie on two disks counldn't be merged to one movie, then run thru DVD2ONE.

I to tried a simular test... the 1st 2 episodes from Band of brothers.
I smartriped just the video (mpv) and audio (ac3) to seperate folders for each title. Then loaded in to maestro as one movie (synced audio)
and re-authored HD then ran dvd2one on new single movie. Worked great.
I was very suprised at the quality. I guess because it wasn't much over that it didn't compress much.

Ya, that's the deal, the size is the key, from what I can tell when you start getting around 5.5 GB or larger, you can see the difference. The next big movie I do I'm going to trim the intro and the credits by spliting the vob's,then see if it will still go thru 2ONE. That's how I was doing Band of Brothers, Plus I had to split&span across the disks. I was on track to get the set on 7 disks with and outside chance of 6 disks. but I stopped at the third disk because I got DVD2ONE. Since there was a filter on the camera to make the film look older,It's perfect for 2ONE,plus so far the disks are just over 5GB total.

I guess your ripping to mpv & ac3 so you don't have to merge the files and do Ifo steps, some steps may not be needed, but I wanted to post what I did, and I over killed it every step of the way. I'll see if I can widdle it down a little bit. But be sure the Navigation pointers are correct, or when it plays in a cheap home player and you change the chapters it will crash.

Things have changed over night in the DVD back-up world,
Life is good
