i have a dvddecrypter decrypted file of a movie. it is 4.5GB in size. i plan to use DVD2One to strip out unwanted angle, audio & subtitle streams. if i cut them out, the movie should be well under the 4.38 GB limit. if this is the case, does DVD2One touch the video at all. will there be any loss in quality? your wisdom plz!!!

if DVD2One does re-encode, i may use IFO mode on dvddecrypter & strip out the unwanted streams.

If the the final size of the movie is equal or below 4.37GB after the stripping, DVD2ONE will NOT transcode the videostream.

WPELLE,

If you plan on possibly keeping your original menu, strip your unwanted audio and subtitles after DVD2One. You may or may not have enough room for your menu but you have a more than 50% likely chance on that you can.

Yeah, I know :)

But the question in this thread was whether DVD2ONE transcoded the videostream when it isn't necessary ;)

To be short, no it doesn't. If the original fits it will use the original streams!
