Xvid and Pocket Pc

Recently, a friend of mine got a Dell Pocket Pc. One of the things he'd like to do with it is watch movies with it. It came with Windows Media Player 9 loaded on it, and unfortunately, that program only plays wmv and asf files. (uggh!!). I'm trying to convert him to using xvid and would like to know if there are any avi players for the pocket pc that can use xvid and if so, how do I go about loading it onto the system? The OS is the Pocket Pc version of Win XP. I checked the Microsoft website, and it says that version 9 of the wmv encoder uses yv12 colorspace, so the developer builds should be playable. Ideas anyone?

My friend had already found it on his own. Now I'm trying to figure out what bitrate his system can handle. He has the 400 Mhz processor and has a program to overclock it to about 500 Mhz. Approximately what is the fastest bitrate that will give decent playback, i.e. no dropping frames or synch problems? I already know what size files to shoot for and knowing the bitrate will let me figure out how long each segment will play. Thanks anyway for confirming that it will play Xvid.
