okay, i'm not sure if i spell that word correctly (squeeze), but it has nothing to do with killing a mouse, but with the noise that comes for my mouse; a computer mouse.

now that i kind of clear that up; everytime i move my mouse, it makes a squeeze noise (like a mouse), is there anyway to stop this? besides buying a new mouse.

Delete the file C:\WINDOWS\MEDIA\SQUEEZE.WAV. If that doesn't work, try WD-40. If that doesn't work, take it back (tell them someone put WD-40 in it) and exchange it for a trackball.

Does the mouse itself make the noise, or does your PC make the noise? My friend has had that problem before, but it always goes away if he turns off his PC and turns it back on.

@fccHandler

Ooh, you're so bad... :D

@dani82

Is it a normal mouse? Or a optical? Always, write more infos when you put something on the web. With more infos, I don't mean your weight etc. ;) .

- Clean the mouse
- Change the mousepad (or remove it)
and so on.

that's true, i actually excepted someone to give me a supid answer.

all is well, all i had to do was to clean the inside of the mouse and remove the rubber thing on the axis, but i still can't figure out how the noise was made?
