I am reauthoring from scratch some vhs tapes and I am using the GPRM value has variable to keep track of the audio track in use
is it safe to use this GRPM value ?
What is it exactly ?
My concern is that I have 2 audio tracks for one movie (AC3 and mpeg) and if the user chooses AC3, I want to play a DD digital trailer (such as the train or egypt).
When the user chooses mpeg, I want to jump straight away to the movie
The DD trailer has a different bitrate than the DD audio track and therefore it is in first postion, the DD track for the movie in second and the mpeg in 3rd
So GPRM is the only solution I have found so far to memorize the user's choice to select the appropriate link
