Anyone knows the diferences between : MPEG2DEC, MPEG2DEC3 and MPEGDECODER ????
Which Avisynth plug in performance the best speeed ????
Anyone notices diference in speed between Avisynth 2.07 and 2.5 ??

I don't know exactly all differences between all versions, but the interesting part for me about mpeg2dec3 for example is the possibility to use SSE2 Extensions of a P4 processor.
I didn't do any testing 'til now, whether encoding is faster with SSE2 or not, but that will follow soon ;)

AFAIK, MPEGDECODER should be the fastest

Mpeg2dec3 is the default decoder for avisynth 2.5. It's SSE 2 compatible so you should go faster with a P4. With Athlon, there's no speed increase.
Mpeg2dec3 has also some built in filters (like Deblocking or Deringing) that should improve visual quality if used properly.
The speed increase is only noticeable encoding to DivX or Xvid trough YV12 space colors, else other codecs or program (such CCE) won't open this kind of file. You must use converttoyuy2 and doing so the speed will stay equal to Avisynth 2.07
Mpegdecoder has some issues ... I can't remeber now ...
