I don't understand all the calculated values mentioned at the bottom of th DVDCalc window.

What's the "Make video" value exactly ?
Same question for the value "Video Minutes" in the "Location of assets to be used " Tab.

Sorry if the info is available on the forum, I did a search and couldn't find it.

Thanks

Video minutes is the total minutes of all the video in your VTS. If you have 1 pgc, it would just be the length of the movie, if you had say, 4 pgcs, it would the combined total of the length of all 4 pgcs.

Make Video is just a box used to tell you the size your transcoded mpv should be after CCE finishes.

I plan to write a decent guide soon on how to use the calc, I've just been preoccupied as of lately, so there's nothing yet.

Thanks Eyez.

Still, how come video Minutes change wether you select 1 or 2 audio channels ?

No big deal though, this DVDCalc was very helpful for me anyway.

I'll be waiting for the guide in case I missed some important part.

Minutes change because it calculates the amount of bytes of audio against the number of tracks. If you have 1 track, and then use the same number of bytes for 2 tracks, obviously your duration would have to be 1/2.

Looks like I may not have to write a guide after all.. both Doom9 and Trilight have detailed usage of my calc quite well in their new guides!
