What happens if I have installed codec DivX basic and I work by error in Gknot with option Use Pro features?

turn off the Pro features in GKnot if you have basic. I can't really understand your question, if there even is one.....

I think that the Pro features will be simply ignored by the codec in this case (if people at divx.com have done things in the right way :rolleyes:, so i'm assuming that the codec data format is the same between the normal and the pro version).

If I remember correctly, I got a popup window from the DivX codec stating that I needed the Pro version. But since I have the Pro version now, no more annoyances :-)
