Hi,

I got a hybrid SVCD source i want to convert into DVD (i want it fully DVD compliant) but i only had problems so far.

DVD2AVI says that the SVCD MPEG stream is Progressive - Interlaced - Progressive - Interlaced - Progressive...

First time i didn't pay attention and the final result was terrible. Then i used decomb with the following settings :

Telecide()
Decimate(mode=1)

The result seems ok but not amazing.

Maybe i didn't use decomb correctly.

Thx for the help

Can't you just encode it all as interlaced and not worry about it?

Sorry - don't know - can't afford CCE :) I use TMPGEnc - is there not a setting for interlaced or maybe its called TV?
