I've tried several times using DVD2SVCD on this movie and every time Nero says it is too big to burn on a 80 min CD. The bin file that I now have is 744 MB. Am I doing something wrong! Some help for a dummy, please????

Have you successfully burned a bin file that was over 700 meg before?
If not, you may need to update your CD Burner software. I used Nero 5.555 and it wouldn't work until I updated to Nero 5.9
If this isn't the issue, I hope you find a better answer soon.

In nero goto file/burn image and select your .bin
Don't burn an .bin file like a regular file.
You could try DVD Decrypter also. Mode->ISO->Write and select your .bin. That's what I normally use.
Good Luck.

No, you need to select the .cue file! I'm sure he's trying to burn the .bin file to a CD simply as a data file.

Are you saying drag the cue file into Nero and not the bin file??? I tried that and it burned a disk and put it in my Apex which plays SVCD and nothing. Ilooked on my my cd drive and it didn't even show there was a disk in there. A while back I used DVD2SVCD to make other SVCD's and had not problem but now I don't seem to be able to burn the files that it creates. HELP!!!

In Nero goto File/Burn Image and select the cue file. That's what I meant earlier:stupid:
Drag nothing.

i still think mounting is the easiest way....if you had read the faq you would have found this to be the 'fool-proof' method.
try www.daemon-tools.net

First I want to say thanks to all who are trying to help.. I had Nero 5.5.10 and just downloaded the update of 5.5.10.7. I have done with both version as you said. File, Burn Image, Select cue. The result is the same. My dvd Rom drive doesn't think there is cd in the drive and the Apex loads and nothing, not even a message error. It's like there is nothing on the disk. It's getting frustrating. I use DVD2SVCD about a month ago and made two different files and burned them with no problems. The only difference was that I used TMPEnc then and on this one CCE. I don't know what else to do. If you guys could give me few more suggestions it would be GREATLY appreciated.

Will these guys stop already. I meen sheesh how many updates can they do. Of course if they got rid of the bugs then there wouldn't need to be updates. So I say they should stop putting bugs in their software.
Try burning the bbmpeg_muxed_file??.mpg using Nero's SVCD template. Maybe there is an issue with the Bin. Make sure you can play it and it works before you go wasting your time.
Now I have a strange thought. Are you sure you don't have simulation checked on the burn tab of Nero? If you did it would look like it's burning, but it won't.

Thanks I didn't have simulation checked and I'm going to try using Nero SVCD to burn as you suggested. Will let you know.

You guys are great!!!! I solved the problem. I used the suggestion of using Daemon Tools, mounted the cue file and used Nero to burn a copy and everything came out perfect. Thanks again.

I have come across this problem before. You need to set nero up to overburn an image and it will solve the problem. In nero goto file> preferences> expert features>> click on enable overburn and adjust the maximum cd lenth to 85 minutes. This should solve your problem.

unless someone has read Q&A question 61 and tried daemon tools and had problems with that method then and ONLY THEN post your crap results trying some other way. Must have been well over 6,666,666 posts about this Nero crap.
here's my screenshot guide (http://www.mrbass.org/dvd2svcd/burn/) who can't READ

the daemon site doesn't seem to load for me.
Is it down? The main page loads which asks for the resolution, but when I click on it, it times out...
If so, does anywhere else have the tools?
