merging m2v's & ac3's

i've got two m2v & two ac3 files that i can import in to maestro just fine. what i need to do though is merge these files together, then import them in to maestro. but when i merge them through tmpgenc using the 'mpegtool' maestro says they're invalid. can someone tell me how to correctly merge these files so that maestro will like them?

Maestro does the merging/Muxing for you.
Read the Maestro guide at Doom9.

Unless you are saying that you have 2 mpv files and 2 ac3 files and they are actually one movie?

thats exactly what i'm saying.. they are the same movie in 4 files (2 m2v & 2 ac3) files.
