I have authored a DVD with Maestro with a single movie but 2 languages (english and spanish) and 2 sets of language specific menus (Options, Chapter, Production notes…). The First Play is a Menu with language selection that directs the user to the English or Spanish menus but when watching the movie and pressing the Title Menu or the Chapter Menu I only have one option, either the English or the Spanish menus. I’d like to, based on the soundtrack selected for viewing -1 (English) or 2 (Spanish) - automatically direct the viewer to the appropriate language specific menu. I understand that this can be done with the command sequences but exactly how? Any in-depth help would be most welcome.
Thank you.

What you need to do is create two different menus. Then, you need to set your project up such that if the user selects the title menu or whatever, it will access the COMMAND SEQUENCE and not the menu itself. In your command sequence, you would tell the player to look at whatever language was currently selected and, based on this selection, kick the user out to one menu or the other. The thing to remember is to set the command sequence you make as the "target" action that occurs when selecting the menu button so that it makes the decision which menu to send the user to.

Search the forum and read about command sequences. There are tons of examples. I don't mean this to sound rude but I can answer you and point you in the right direction but I don't have time to write a guide tailor made to do your project for you. Sorry. :(

Of course I thank you for your help. Having read the postings and guides about CS I had not a clear idea about how to solve this case.

Ruben
