I've only heard of some episodes being cut when airing in the UK. The DVD on the other hand isn't. If your from the UK maybe collect the UK discs because an episode that never aired in North-America is on the next DVD volume. The region one DVD has less episode but more extras.
There does seem to be a small cut in the second volume.
The episode "Road to Rhode Island" on the recently released series 2 DVD (region 2) appears to have been cut slightly. The Bin Laden scene is missing. This is a likely consequence of 9/11. According to the BBFC no cuts were made to the episode, so it must have been cut State side from the original. http://www.stewiesminions.com/
