i only post this thread because none of the others seem to help me:
I´ve done Blade 2 using CCE/DVDMaestro. I´ve done exactly like everyone told me:

"Use the DVD2AVI, Vfapi, CCE DVDmaestro method to do your DVD. Make sure u use dvd2avi to make a project of just the main movie. Re-encode it and just place the main movie in Maestro with the sound track and chapter information. NOTHING ELSE, no menus or extra's or anything. Now compile that project and it should generate some video_ts files and vts_01 files. If your original main movie wasnt vts_01 then rename all these files.

NOW, open up the newly created Maestro movie ifo (vts_01.0.ifo) and goto VTS_PGCITI then VTS_PCC1 and at the top there should be some info about number of cells and programs. remember these values and then open up your original movie ifo and change these values to match the new ifo.

NOW, delete your original movie vob's (not ifo's). eg vts_01.1.vob, vts_01_2.vob .... > BUT NOT vts_01_0.vob (the first one is the menu files for the main movie.

Then, just replace your maestro vobs (vts_01_1.vob , vts_01_2.vob ....
into the same directory as the ones u deleted.

Now run ifoUpdate in cell only mode and fill in the required parameters. Press update ifo, then get VTS sectors then try and play the movie with original menus in ifoedit.

95% of the time this works and starts playing like original dvd. If it dosnt then open up video_ts.ifo, click on VGM_MAT then first play PCG, look for precommands then add a new one that jumps to Video Manager Menu."

I´ve done all this. When watching the result on powerdvd the movie really works with the menu. But when trying to record it using NERO it gives me an error. It says that it doens´t have the vts_03_6.vob or it says that file allocation error.
I dont know what to do anymore.

In Ifoupdate in the original ifo place i put the original ifo to where i´ve copyed the maestro vobs. In the authored ifo i place the ifo that was created by maestro... WHAT I´M I DOING WRONG?!!!!

Maybe this DVD has a dummy VOB file (with 0 Kb lenght)
If not, try to GetVTSSectors in Ifoedit at burn your DVD with another software, like RecordNow...

I can't get ifoupdate modified video to work w/ Nero if I choose the "DVD-Video" option. I have to select the "DVD-ROM(UDF) option and manually create the VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS directories. That has solved any problems i've had with the file reallocation problem.

hi mate , I did blade 2 just last night , and had no probs , I think you are of the path a wee bit ,

once you have re_authored with maestro , you should then just get the original vobs from the movie and then either delete them or move then to an empty folder. Then re-neme the new authored vobs from maestro to match those that you just moved/deleted , then move these to the original blade2 VIDEO_TS folder , then close that all down
Now open up IFOUPDATE and select standard mode , input the path for the original main movie ifo file in the top window, then input the path for the newly created maestro main movie ifo file in the second window and finally a path for the original backup ifo file to be placed , then just select update ifo's, it should go through smoothly, close it down and open up IFOEDIT and select the blade2 video_ts.ifo and select get vts sectors , that should be it ( happy veiwing ) :sly:
